SPB announced the start date and the teams that will participate in the 2025 season

A total of 14 teams will participate in the 2025 season of the Professional Basketball Super League (SPB), which will begin on March 14.

The information was released through SPB's social networks, in which it confirmed that the teams will be divided into the central-eastern and central-western conferences with 7 teams each.

The central-eastern conference will consist of the teams Crocodiles of Caracas, Gladiators of Anzoátegui, Guaiquerís de Margarita, Marinos de Oriente, Panthers of Miranda, Pirates of La Guaira and Spartans of the Capital District.

For its part, the central-western conference will be composed of Brillantes del Zulia, Panthers of Miranda, Pioneers of Zulia, Llaneros de Guárico, Pioneros del Ávila, Toros de Aragua and Trotamundos de Carabobo.

He also announced that the merger of several teams took place: Heroes of Falcón and Gaiteros del Zulia, and Broncos de Caracas and Pioneros del Ávila.

In addition to Centaurs from Portuguesa and Brillantes from Zulia, and Diablos de Miranda with Llaneros de Guárico.

The season is scheduled to start on March 14 and each team will play 24 games, in which they will face each of their rivals four times, with two home games and the same number as visitors.
