In order to review procedures and accelerate processes aimed at fishing activities in the state of Sucre , a single box office will be put into operation , supported by technological tools.

This was reported by the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo , during an assembly of direct dialogue and inspection with spokespersons from the Councils of Fishermen, Fishermen and Aquaculture Farmers (CONPPA), while explaining that the intention of this box office is to allow fishermen to entity the simplification of procedures, such as unified technical inspections.

In this regard, he explained that with this platform, the fisherman will have a card equipped with a QR code, in which the institutions involved will be able to verify in a unified manner and in real time the record of fishing activity, status of the vessel, crew information, authorized fishing gear, as well as sailing permits and associated tasks.

In addition, he added that this modality will be put into operation at the national level, but it starts in Sucre, because the highest percentage of fishing activity in the country is concentrated there.
