Superintendent Román Maniglia: SENIAT raised more than 818 billion bolivars in August

The superintendent of the National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT), Román Maniglia, reported that the collection for the month of August amounts to 818.7 billion bolivars, which is equivalent to exceeding one billion dollars.

Through social networks, he also indicated that the collection of internal taxes and customs closed the month of August with an increase of 25% compared to the same month in 2025.

He also explained that, in the case of domestic taxes, the increase was 28%, while that of customs was 21% in real terms.

On the other hand, Maniglia highlighted the installation of the monthly working table with regional tax and customs departments, where collection balances are assessed, strategies are adjusted and plans are monitored to advance the modernization, digitalization and automation of Seniat throughout the country.

“We are moving forward on the path of building the new tax culture, hand in hand with responsible citizens and a transparent State, as our president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, has told us,” he said.
