The Governor of the state of La Guaira, Alejandro Terán, reported on the rehabilitation of the entity's Passenger Terminal, following the evaluation of the Presidential Commission on Inspections.

In this regard, Terán explained that after structural evaluations to this infrastructure, it was determined that the damage suffered corresponds to the masonry and of a minor nature.

“We are taking the decision, after talking with President Delcy Rodríguez, to immediately begin the complete rehabilitation of this entire transport terminal,” he said.

He also pointed out that institutions such as “SAIME, SAREN, the Public Defender's Office, the National Institute of Land Transport, among others that provide such necessary services here in La Guaira” operate in this space .

Finally, he added that this action also preserves employment and the reactivation of the economy, through local businesses.
