The death toll after an earthquake in Japan rises to 110

The number of people killed after a series of earthquakes recorded in Japan since last January 1st has risen to 110. According to the report of the Japanese prefecture of Ishikawa 210 people remain missing in this sector of the western coast of the center of that country.
News media reported, citing local authorities that the city of Wajima, the most affected city in Ishikawa, has 59 deaths, compared to around 100 reported cases of people buried and trapped under the rubble of collapsed buildings.
The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) warned local residents to be alert to possible landslides based on the weather forecast that indicates precipitation in the area.
