The Ministry of Public Works is refurbishing 12 temporary camps in La Guaira

The Ministry of the People's Power of Public Works is refurbishing 12 temporary camps in the state of La Guaira, with the objective of providing decent and safe spaces to those who have lost their homes or are at risk of habitability.
These camps are part of the 28 available throughout the Guaireña state, which fully serve 12,123 people.
To date, the ministerial body has completed comprehensive rehabilitation in 5 camps, directly benefiting about 2,000 people with more optimal spaces for their daily lives, while the other 7 have an increase of more than 60%, which will culminate in the coming weeks.
The works have included the conditioning of sanitary areas, dining room, sports court, facades, perimeter area, as well as other spaces that optimize the temporary stay of children, young people, adults and the elderly from the Maiquetía, Catia La Mar, La Guaira, Urimare and Caraballeda parishes.
