The Minister of Popular Power for Transport, Aníbal Coronado Millán, led a day of technical inspection of the main maritime infrastructures of the state of Carabobo.

The main objective of the tour was to verify first-hand the levels of operation, optimize logistics processes and strengthen the link with the workforce that energizes the sector.

The day began at the facilities of Boliporti — Puerto Cabello, where the holder of the transport portfolio, together with the president of Boliporti, Germán Gómez Larez, president of Boliporti and the Deputy Minister of Water Transport, David Quintana, evaluated the performance of the loading and unloading machinery.

During the inspection, Minister Coronado highlighted the following advances: Logistic efficiency: Highlighted the positive impact of high-tech equipment on the speed of port operations.

Regarding strategic savings, he highlighted how its own operation significantly reduces costs for users and customers in the sector. Regarding the national scope, he explained that this increase in operating capacity is part of a master plan that covers the ports of La Guaira, Guanta, El Guamache, Maracaibo and La Ceiba.

“We are ensuring the optimization of resources under the guidelines of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, relying on what we call the 'living working force', who are the engine of these achievements,” he said.

To conclude the deployment, the ministerial authority was transferred to the facilities of Diques y Astilleros Nacionales C.A. (DIANCA). At this point, the Minister highlighted the historic milestone represented by the current administration, led by the first woman to preside over the institution.

Coronado emphasized that the key to success at DIANCA lies in its human talent and urged the authorities to guide with determination the technical staff, whom he described as professionals with the “vast experience” necessary for the titanic task of strengthening the Venezuelan naval industry.
