27 days after the earthquakes recorded in the country, the state of La Guaira has received more than 10,964 tons of food, cereals, vegetables and proteins, destined for communities, temporary camps and health centers, as reported by the Minister of Popular Power for Food, Carlos Leal Tellería.
From the R2 rotating reserve warehouse, located on the central coast, Tellería assured that this center, together with 480 other establishments nationwide, allows the smooth and timely distribution of food, especially in the most affected areas.
He also indicated that all the work has been possible thanks to the active participation of communities and Popular Power, together with State institutions and regional governments, with special emphasis on La Guaira as the most affected area.
Finally, it ratified the work being done by the national Government to guarantee food to all Venezuelans and, in a special way, to all families affected by the contingency caused by the earthquakes.
