The Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology in the state of Miranda (Fundacite-Miranda) carried out the pedagogical activity Science with Purpose in the Transitional Camp located in the Tito Salas National Educational Unit, in the Baruta municipality.

The interactive activity, as reported by the Ministry of Science and Technology, sought to address in a pedagogical way the emotional experiences left by the earthquakes of last June 24.

The meeting included dynamic workshops lasting 45 minutes, allowing participants to explore and interact with various areas of knowledge, including robotics, astronomy, chemistry and computer science.

In addition, the boys and girls participated in a special prevention module, where they learned to identify the elements of a first aid kit, providing them with practical tools for their safety.

In this regard, the project analyst at FUNDACITE Miranda, Juan Bompart, highlighted that this activity linked to the area of science has recreational and pedagogical tools to support the families that were affected.

This temporary hostel provided by the Bolivarian Government serves 11 families, made up of more than 30 people, who were able to enjoy the different activities proposed by the FUNDACITE Miranda team of specialists.
