The World Health Organization (WHO) in Palestine reported that on December 26 it has canceled four humanitarian missions to date because it does not receive corresponding security guarantees.

“It's been 12 days since we were last able to reach northern Gaza. Intense shelling, restrictions on movement and interrupted communications make it almost impossible to deliver medical supplies regularly and safely throughout Gaza, especially in the north,” the WHO said.

The entity explained that the mission aims to deliver the necessary medical supplies for surgical interventions to five hospitals in Gaza, however, the constant Israeli bombardment against the Palestinian population has prevented the passage of humanitarian aid.

According to what was published on the Sputnik website, so far there have been more than 22,800 dead and more than 58,400 injured in the Gaza Strip.
