The Ministry of Popular Power for Sports, hand in hand with running clubs in the country, held a meeting to present the solidarity day Running for Venezuela, called for this Sunday, July 26.

The initiative, which emerged from the athlete community itself under the premise of “running with purpose”, seeks to collect priority supplies and supplies to provide support to families affected by the double earthquake recorded on June 24.

Freddy Hernández, spokesperson for the activity and representative of the Caciques Runners club, highlighted the importance of sports union in times of contingency, pointing out that the goal of Venezuelan runners is to transform the kilometers traveled into real help for those affected by the double earthquake of June 24.

The sporting and charity event will feature 4K, 6K and 10K. To participate, attendees must provide a product or input from the priority list enabled for collection, which is available on the official Instagram accounts of the Ministry of Sports and Hyperevents.
