Transitional camps in Miranda received a day of child care

The Route of Hope program organized a day of recreational and training care at the CEINS “Mama Rosa” temporary camps, in the Baruta municipality, and the National Educational Unit “El Libertador”, in Chacao, Miranda state, to accompany children affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.
During the activity, games, group dynamics and pedagogical actions were held aimed at providing psychosocial support and promoting recreational spaces for children who remain in these shelters.
The Undersecretary of Culture of the Government of Miranda, Dagsi Rodríguez, explained that these days are part of the comprehensive care plan that is developed in temporary camps.
At the same time, he emphasized that art and recreational activities contribute to children's emotional well-being during contingency.
The actions seek to guarantee safe spaces for coexistence, recreation and support, as part of the protection strategy aimed at families who remain in temporary shelters in Miranda state.
