The passage of tropical wave number 30 caused heavy downpours accompanied by electrical activity that caused flooding, landslides and damages in Caracas and several states of the country.

In the capital, the rains caused a ravine to overflow that flooded areas of the El Junquito and Antímano parishes. In the latter, a tree fell on a house.

The head of the Public Services Office of the Government of the Capital District, Raquel Fernández, reported, in statements collected by the newspaper Última Noticias, the deployment of crews and heavy machinery for the intensive removal of mixed waste on Antímano Intercommunal Avenue, specifically in Carapita, Santa Ana, Mamera I, Cajón El Carmen and El Algodonal. In this parish, the controlled pruning and removal of a tree that yielded over a house in the El Tanque sector was also carried out.

Clearance work was also carried out in the La Montañita ravine in El Junquito.
