Undefeated! Venezuela will face Argentina in the South American Under-20 Beach Soccer Championship this Monday

Venezuela will face the Argentine national team, this Monday, August 24 at 3:00 in the afternoon, in their third match of the group stage of the South American U-20 Beach Soccer.

The Venezuelan national team leads group A with 2 victories, after defeating Peru 6-3 in their debut, in the match that took place at the Playa Agua Dulce Stadium, in Lima.

The Vinotinto goals were scored by Freddy Rangel, Ronald Cordero, Rubén Robaina, José Gómez and Sebastián Córcega with a double.

Later, those led by Alex Toro in their second match dominated their Chilean counterpart 2-1. The Vinotinto goals were scored by Freddy Rangel and Fernando Rivero.

Venezuela leads the group with 6 points, followed by Colombia with 3, the same amount as Peru, while Chile and Argentina have failed to score.

The two best countries in each group will advance directly to the semifinals of the Final Phase, which will be played between August 29 and 30.
