The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Iván Gil, reported that he had a telephone conversation with his Indonesian counterpart, Sugiono, in which both reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in various strategic areas.

Through his official Telegram channel, Gil indicated that the exchange addressed the preparations for the IV Bilateral Joint Commission, an event that will allow for deeper cooperation in areas such as tourism, trade, economy and culture.

“We reaffirm our mutual support in multilateral forums and convey our congratulations on Indonesia's recent entry into the BRICS group, which represents a significant step forward in shaping a multipolar world,” said Gil.
