Venezuela and Kuwait boost the growth of their bilateral relations

Among the achievements achieved during the meeting, the agreement to design a road map that outlines the path to follow in binational relationships stand out

Venezuela and Kuwait reviewed their bilateral cooperation agreements and expressed their intention to continue to deepen their ties of friendship, in connection with the Second Meeting of Bilateral Political Consultations, held in virtual format.

The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Tatiana Pugh Moreno, on the Venezuelan side; and the Deputy Foreign Minister for the Americas of the State of Kuwait, Nawaf Abdullatif Al Ahmad; and it allowed us to address the interest and willingness of both governments to strengthen bilateral relations.

During her speech, the Deputy Minister announced the significant economic growth of Venezuela, despite the more than 900 unilateral coercive measures imposed on the country, while expressing the intention of the Bolivarian nation to extend relations with Kuwait in the areas of food security and agriculture.

For his part, the Kuwaiti Deputy Minister highlighted Venezuela's unconditional support for the Palestinian Cause, proposed high-level meetings to strengthen political and economic ties and the creation of a common agenda to promote joint projects.

Among the achievements achieved during the meeting, the agreement to design a road map that traces the path to follow in binational relations and allows them to promote and consolidate joint agreements, which promote development and mutual cooperation in the areas of political, economic and food security, stand out.
