Venezuela and Portugal advance in relations that are beneficial to both Peoples

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, met this Tuesday with the Secretary of State for Portuguese Communities, Emídio Sousa, who is in Caracas to strengthen cooperation relations between the two countries.

Through his Telegram channel, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister explained that the Portuguese diplomat “is making a productive visit to our country to meet with the Portuguese-Venezuelan community and hold high-level meetings with the Bolivarian Government within the framework of bilateral relations and cooperation.”

During the meeting, Gil reaffirmed “the willingness of the Venezuelan Government to promote bilateral relations that are beneficial to both peoples, based on friendship and mutual respect.
