The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, held a meeting this Monday with the director of the Department of Latin America of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexander Shchetinin, to review the strong bilateral relationship and strategic cooperation between the two countries.

“We also placed special emphasis on the brotherhood and solidarity that unites us, in the context of our joint search for a multipolar world,” said the Venezuelan diplomat through his Telegram channel.

Venezuela and Russia have maintained diplomatic relations since March 1945, characterized by respect and defense of the principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations and the common vision of a multicentric and multipolar world.
