Venezuela and UNCTAD promote bilateral cooperation in Geneva

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs of
the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, held a meeting with the
Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Rebeca Grynspan, in
the framework of the 61st session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, which is being held in Geneva, Switzerland.
“We reaffirm the commitment of the Bolivarian Government
to promote bilateral and multilateral relations that promote trade and
guarantee the right of peoples to development,” said the Venezuelan
diplomat through his Telegram channel.
He also noted that “it is essential that every nation has
the opportunity to benefit from unrestricted trade to ensure the
normal functioning of their economies.”
He stressed that the Government of Venezuela is
actively working to build international relations that promote
development.
