Venezuela and Vietnam reiterated their willingness to continue working on a common agenda of development, cooperation and mutual benefit for our Peoples.

This was reported by the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, after her meeting with the Foreign Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Le Hoai Trung , at the Miraflores Palace.

Rodríguez specified that during the meeting they talked “about the future of our relations. We reviewed the progress of bilateral cooperation in the areas of agriculture, energy, telecommunications, trade and industry; and we agreed to accelerate the mechanisms of complementarity, as well as the holding of the next Venezuela-Vietnam Joint Intergovernmental Commission this year.”
