The Ministry of Popular Power for Youth is actively working with specialized educators so that Venezuela can achieve the Guinness Record for the largest musical marching band in the world, which is currently held by Japan, a nation that put 12,269 musicians on stage in 2025.
In this regard, the president of the National Federation of Marching Bands (FEDEBANDAS), Manuel Rosas, assured that this feat will place these artistic expressions in the same place of honor held by the National Orchestra System.
He also indicated that the activity is expected to take place next August, and indicated that talks are being held with the Guinness Records company. In addition, he clarified that the event will be held in Caracas, and will possibly be in Los Próceres or La Carlota.
To break Japan's record, Rosas predicts the presence of approximately 20,000 musicians on stage, including dancers and choreographers. “We started with 15,000,” he said, adding that registrations began in a positive way.
In addition, the musical director announced that to register, interested parties can contact the cell number 0424-142-9571, or through the organization's Instagram " >account.
