Venezuela celebrates victory in the World Baseball Classic this 18-M with caravans and concerts

After Venezuela's historic victory in the World Baseball Classic, the national government is deploying the “Great National Celebration for Our World Champions” for this Wednesday, March 18.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, Venezuelans will mobilize across the country to honor sporting glory in an unprecedented day of joy.

Under the slogan “United Venezuela”, an agenda full of joy, culture and music will unfold in the streets of the country, which reaffirms sport as the great engine of unity and national peace.

The day will begin at 3:00pm with popular rallies in the main squares of each state and gives way, at 4:00 p.m., to the deployment of the caravans that will converge in the central points of each region.

Also, starting at 6:00 p.m., popular concerts and cantatas will begin across the country. These cultural activities will pay tribute to sporting heroes and celebrate the talent, discipline and determination that brought the national team to the top of the world.

In the capital city, the celebration will focus on five large caravans that will travel through the center and east of the city and converge in a large central event in the Plaza de la Juventud. The starting points will be: Petare, Propatria, Caricuao, El Valle and El Recreo.
