Venezuela congratulated Colombia for the development of the X CELAC summit

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, on behalf of the Bolivarian Government, expressed his sincerest congratulations to his Colombian counterpart, Rosa Yolanda Villavicencio, and to the Government of President Gustavo Petro for hosting the X CELAC Summit and the CELAC-Africa High Level Forum.

Through a message published on his Telegram channel, he indicated that during a meeting with the foreign minister of the neighboring country, he reiterated Venezuela's commitment to strengthening and expanding binational projects, aimed at promoting coexistence, trade and cooperation.

“We have also highlighted the importance of regional integration projects and South-South cooperation, issues that we have come to discuss at this important meeting in Bogotá,” he said.
