A new shipment of humanitarian assistance from the State of Qatar arrived in Venezuela early this Wednesday morning, as part of the international aid that the nation has received after the double earthquake.

According to information issued by the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, the cargo contains 11.6 tons of supplies and was received by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Caribbean, Raúl Li Causi, who expressed deep gratitude for this gesture of brotherhood to the Qatari representation.
“We want to send a message of thanks from our Government and from our president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, Qatar's support has been continuous under these circumstances,” he said.

It became known that the cargo is intended for care in the camps, so it contains: mats, blankets and various material to protect people who were unfortunately left homeless at this time.

For his part, the commander of the Qatari aircraft, Nasser A Almesaifri, reaffirmed his nation's commitment to the Venezuelan people and assured that this humanitarian assistance bridge will continue to be active pending more support in the coming days.
