Authorities from the National Service of Medicine and Forensic Sciences (SENAMECF) recognized the work of the team of forensic experts from the Republic of Colombia and the ambassador of that nation to Venezuela, Milton Rengifo Hernández.

Venezolana de Televisión specified that this team helped the families of the victims to carry out genetic identification and DNA tests, “a fundamental technical process for the restoration of the identity and peace of mind of the mourners.”
