Venezuela runner-up in South American Women's Under-20 Futsal

This Sunday, September 20, the Venezuelan national team was crowned runner-up in the Grand Final of the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) Women's Under-20 Futsal 2026, held at the Bolivarian Dome of Barquisimeto, in Lara state.

After a contested match, Brazil's women's national team won 3-1 overtime against Venezuela, and was crowned champion of the South American Women's Under-20 Futsal Championship.

Vinotinto stood up in the game and played face to face against Canarinha, drawing 1-1 and extending into overtime. With a minute and a half left before the end, the Amazonian women went up and then liquidated 3-1 in the search for a tie for the Venezuelan women.

The Venezuelan national team, this Saturday, September 19, rallied an adverse score of 0-2 to beat Argentina 3-2, at the Bolivarian Dome of Barquisimeto and qualified for the first time in its history in the South American final of the category organized by CONMEBOL.
