Venezuela stands in solidarity with Colombia after the accident in Putumayo

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, on behalf of the Bolivarian People and Government, expressed her solidarity and regret with the People and Government of Colombia, after the regrettable plane crash that occurred this Monday, in Puerto Leguízamo in the department of Putumayo.

In an official statement, released by Foreign Minister Yván Gil, the Bolivarian Government expressed “its sincere condolences to the families of the National Army and the crew of the Colombian Aerospace Force who died in this tragic accident.”

Venezuela expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the members of the National Army and the crew of the Colombian Aerospace Force who died in this tragic accident. In these moments of uncertainty and pain, our prayers go out to the injured, raising our best wishes for their speedy and full recovery.

The Venezuelan people join the mourning that today engulfs the Colombian nation, reaffirming the value of life and integrity of those who serve their homeland with honor.
