The Venezuelan, Carlos Ríos, won bronze in the WTT Youth Contender Buenos Aires 2026, according to information published by the State Channel, Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
El athlete won the bronze medal in the U19 men's individual category and secured his place on the podium after an exceptional performance at the table, “demonstrating a high level of play against the best in the continent”.
“Its participation on Argentine soil confirms the growth of Venezuelan table tennis and the competitiveness of its athletes on the global specialty circuit,” VTV reported.
