The Venezuelan delegation strengthened new alliances for the transformation of Venezuelan tourism in the Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (ANATO) 2026, which is taking place in the city of Bogotá.

According to information from the Ministry of Tourism, the Deputy Ministers of National Tourism and International Tourism, Nadia Mignogna and Marcos M edina, together with the president of Venezolana de Turismo, Dheliz Álvarez, developed a high-level agenda with international operators to diversify investment in tourist services in the border area through the exchange of experiences in nature, culture, business and well-being.

The delegation held a meeting with the director of the Cúcuta Tourism Cluster, Pablo Clavijo Sarmiento, identified as a potential investor, and met with the executive president of the Arauca Chamber of Commerce, Lina Patricia Merchán, to discuss strategies focused on attracting customers and new business designs.

The Llanero axis, part of a Special Economic Zone based on commercial identity, agro-industrial development and its character as a territory of peace, was highlighted as a key segment for promotion and cooperation between Venezuelan and Colombian operators.

The Corferias Fairgrounds continue to host this professional showcase until February 27, a platform that consolidates Venezuela as a destination for sustainable development and tourism cooperation in Latin America.
