In an eloquent testimony of Latin American integration and faithful to the spirit of solidarity that unites the nations of the region, the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland opened the doors of its emblematic cultural space, the Bolivar Hall, to support the solemn commemoration of the twentieth anniversary of the community group Expression Inka UK.
The central event of the cultural day was dedicated to the staging of the artistic piece entitled “Mother Earth”. This proposal, which masterfully combines folk dance, traditional music and Andean theater, profoundly moved the diplomatic authorities, delegations and guests present, by structuring a lofty and urgent call for reflection on the environmental impact and global ecological damage derived from anthropogenic actions.
Through a display of traditional clothing of great historical value and choreographies equipped with deep symbolism, Expression Inka UK embodied the essential principles of the Andean worldview. The narrative masterfully recalled that the planet's resources do not constitute an asset of unrestricted inheritance, but rather a sacred intergenerational loan that humanity has the inescapable obligation to preserve and protect in the face of the challenges of the contemporary climate crisis.
This commemoration transcended as a space for fraternal reunion, institutional memory and mutual recognition, where a balance was woven from two decades of tireless cultural and educational work in the British capital.
Representatives of the allied organization expressed their deep gratitude for the hospitality of the Venezuelan diplomatic mission, highlighting the Bolivar Hall as an inestimable historic stronghold and an open beacon for the dissemination of the identity of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Venezuela reaffirms its unwavering and firm commitment to peace, promoting art and the indissoluble bonds of brotherhood that unite the peoples of the world, consolidating spaces for constructive dialogue, cultural preservation and social multilateralism.
