Venezuelan farmers choose spokespersons by category to guarantee food security

On a new democratic day, this Sunday, the Elections of Peasant Spokesmen were held in several states of the country to represent the sector and promote the food sector.
The producer sector of the state of Trujillo pointed out the importance of the Election of Peasant Councils by Category, in order to guarantee food security.
Meanwhile, in the state of Zulia, the conference was successfully held, with the objective of focusing knowledge to strengthen production and food sovereignty.
In the Atures municipality, Amazonas state, the indigenous sector participated in the election, recognizing the importance of these elections for the productive promotion of the nation.
Farmworkers in Maturín municipality, Monagas state, agreed that the election represents an opportunity to boost domestic production.
