Venezuelan farmers guarantee the supply of milk and beef in the country

The deputy of the National Assembly (AN), Alexis Algarra, assured that the country's supply of milk and beef is guaranteed and that, as actors in the sector, they are currently working to meet all the requirements and start the process of exporting their products.

The also director of the National Federation of Cattle Farmers (Fedenaga) indicated that in the sector they are joining forces to obtain certification as a country free of foot-and-mouth disease.

Algarra stressed that this is one of the pending steps to authorize the export of Venezuelan production, which enjoys top quality.

He also indicated that Venezuelan livestock farmers are incorporated into national plans, both public and private, aimed at exploiting the potential of the Venezuelan countryside. “We have to start talking and bringing the issue of livestock to the table,” he said.

Finally, he pointed out that Venezuela's great agricultural potential must be exploited to the maximum capacity in order to contribute progressively to the national economy and to continue the growth registered by the sector to date.

The regulatory body will continue to oversee the development of these engineering maneuvers, which guarantee the restoration of absolute Internet connection in the country.
