Venezuelan national weightlifting team ready for Central American Games

The national weightlifting team will take to the 4×4 platform at the XXV Central American Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026.
The event will take place from August 05 to 08 at the José Joaquín Puello Weight Pavilion, the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports reported.

In the men's division, the contingent is commanded by Tokyo 2020 Olympic medalist Julio Mayora (79 kg),
Keydomar Vallenilla (94 kg), Reinner Arango (71 kg), Wilkeinner Lugo (65 kg), Jefferson Gómez (60 kg), Ángel Rodríguez (85 kg) and Mauricio Loaiza.
The female branch is led by Génesis Rodríguez (58 kg), Dayana Chirinos (86 kg) and Naryuri Pérez (+86).
The relay generation includes Katherin Echandia (53 kg) and Claudia Rengifo (69 kg).
