Vice President Delcy Rodríguez Inaugurates the third edition of FITELVEN 2025

The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, inaugurated the third edition of the Venezuelan International Telecommunications Fair (FITELVEN), from the Caracas Polyhedron,

“FITELVEN is the face of Venezuela's future for the world, the growth of this sector of 7.13 percent. It covers the entire national economy, today we are more connected,” said Rodríguez.

Rodríguez pointed out that all the services that are generated from this “important sector” must be highlighted because, as he said, it pays a tribute to the economy and national welfare.

“Today there are more than 17.5 million fixed internet subscribers and more than 22.5 million mobile internet users, a service that is almost 100% provided via optical fiber. With regard to the authorizations of the National Telecommunications Commission, they grew 283% between 2024 and this year,” he said.
