This Thursday, March 5th, the People of Caracas took to the streets to commemorate the legacy of love left by Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, in order to commemorate 13 years since his planting.

From the Taxi Driver's Corner in the 23 de Enero parish in the capital city, people mobilized with flags and slogans to remember with deep love and joy the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution.

“Our Commander lives, is here, on every street, on every corner. The usual Chávez is here, the cultist and communicator Chávez who trained us to take this country on a better path,” said one of those present.

In addition, others who attended the mobilization stated that “Chávez's love did not remain only in Venezuela, but in all of America, because to speak of him is to speak of the dignity and hope of peoples, as well as affection for people, an incomparable love for the most vulnerable.”

Another of those present at the mobilization highlighted the Commander's sensitivity to communities, to neighborhoods, “because his legacy was common or nothing and today that dream is fulfilled, from the ground up we are working”.

Today, the United People pay homage to the mortal remains of Commander Chávez and they confirm their commitment to the political and social legacy left by the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution.
