Yordan Osorio joins Deportes Tolima and will play in the Copa Libertadores

The Colombian club Deportes Tolima made official the hiring of the Venezuelan central defender, Yordan Osorio, who comes from Deportivo La Guaira of the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League) to provide strength behind the “Vinotinto y Oro” team.

Osorio joins the project led by the Ibagué squad with the main objective of performing well in the group stage of the Copa Libertadores.

The Colombian team, through their official channels, warmly welcomed the Venezuelan player. “Welcome to sacred territory, Yordan Osorio! Here the Tribe is your greatest support and the shield is everything. Your home is now Vinotinto and Oro, and together we will fight furiously in every battle,” the team wrote.

He also stressed that the defender's talent and dedication will be key to continuing to build the team's legacy on the continent: “Your talent brought you here, and with your dedication we will continue to build a legacy that transcends. We're going for everything, Pijao warrior!”
