In order to show a variety of study opportunities in various areas of scientific knowledge, the State Research Center Foundation for Agroindustrial Experimental Production (Ciepe) opened its doors to a group of 22 middle school students, aged between 13 and 17 years old from the state of Yaracuy.

During the activity, linked to the National Scientific Seed Program, the participants took a tour of the different divisions, including those of Agroindustrial Processes, Biotechnology, Cereals and Oilseeds and the Agricultural Fish Station.

In addition, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology, students were able to observe first-hand the processes in each area to understand their impact on national well-being.

This experience allowed them to see how science and technology are applied in real life, encouraging them to consider these disciplines for their future academic training.

The activity also included an orientation session on study alternatives available at universities in Yaracuy State and other regions, with the objective of motivating young people to continue their higher education.
