The Venezuelan athlete Yulimar Rojas reaffirmed her dominance in the triple jump by imposing 14.95 meters in the 45th edition of the Spanish Women's Club Championship, Iberdrola Cup, held at the Palau Velódrom Luis Puig in Valencia, representing FC Barcelona.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the record positioned Rojas as the world leader of the 2026 women's triple jump season, who demonstrated strategic management during the competition: he registered null and void in his second attempt, reached 14.43 meters in the third and decided not to execute the last two jumps after securing the victory from the start, prioritizing his physical and technical preparation.

In the final classification, the Cuban Lidiagmis Povea, from the Diputación Valencia C.A., took second place with 13.96 meters; while Ana Estrella, from Unicaja Jaen Paraiso Interior, completed the podium with 12.98 meters.

With this result, Rojas secured his participation in the 2026 World Indoor Athletics Championships, scheduled from March 20 to 22 in Torun, Poland.
