This Monday, May 4, flight number 140 landed at Maiquetía Simon Bolivar International Airport with 157 repatriated migrants from Miami, Florida, United States (USA).
According to information published on the Mission's Instagram account, this new group of compatriots comprised 106 men, 29 women, 2 teenagers and 20 minors.
The nationals were received by officials from the various citizen security bodies, such as the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) and the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB), who guaranteed order and security throughout the disembarkation process of the compatriots.
Once on Venezuelan soil, repatriated migrants go through a migratory tunnel, “where each person is interviewed to review their case; then they receive medical attention from institutions of the Bolivarian Government, and then they are transferred to their homes by security agencies,” the Ministry of Interior, Justice and Peace reported .
