In Francisco de Miranda Urbanism, in the municipality of Zamora, Miranda state, the Bolivarian Integral Base Committee was established, with the participation of 60 families.
The event was attended by the head of the community, Geraldine Álvarez, who accompanied the orientation and election process. “From the early hours we toured each building, talking with families, explaining the purpose of this committee and its role in popular organization. This structure is not just electoral, it is a tool to plan, propose and execute together with the people,” he said.
Álvarez stressed that the committee will strengthen coordination with street spokespersons, channel proposals and consolidate training and recreation spaces. “It's not just about choosing a coordinator here, but about collectively taking responsibility for transforming our environment. Every family has a role, from sports to culture, from the comptroller's office to production,” he said.
Ezequiel Suárez was elected coordinator by decision of the urban planning assembly. In his first statements, he stressed that his commitment will be collective: “We are going to work as a group to improve everyone's quality of life and that this project continues to move forward. The community supports me and that encourages us not to stray from the path.”
The committee's proposals include the recovery of sports spaces, the promotion of recreational activities such as chess and football and the consolidation of pending urban works, in collaboration with street spokespersons and the municipal structure.
