In Cumaná, Sucre state, a total of 650 justices of the peace were proclaimed at an event held at the headquarters of the Regional Office of the National Electoral Council (CNE), located on Cancamure Avenue in the capital of Sucrense.

In this regard, the justice of the peace of the Guerreros Socioproductive Commune of Ayacucho, Dairy Lizardo, indicated that elected judges will receive the tools for resolving conflicts and controversies that arise within communal circuits, through extensive training sessions that will be deployed in the territories.

In this context, he described this initiative promoted by the National Government as extraordinary, whose premise is the consolidation of the strengthening and territorialization of the Judiciary.

In this regard, Ana Mercedes Ortiz, justice of the peace of the Cumanagoto Potencia Commune, highlighted the importance of the responsibility that, from now on, judges assume to guarantee peace in each of the communities.

Election day last Sunday, December 15, involved 2,111 communal councils in the state.
