This Wednesday, January 17, the ambassador of the Republic of Cuba accredited to Venezuela, Dagoberto Rodríguez, accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Latin America of the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Rander Peña, and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the country, commemorated with a floral offering before the sarcophagus of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, in the National Pantheon, in Caracas, the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

The solemn act before the Liberator's sarcophagus reflects the brotherhood between Venezuela and Cuba and the respect for the Father of the Fatherland on the part of the Cuban nation and the revolutionary movement led by Commander Fidel Castro and his allies against the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista.

The Cuban Revolution is a Latin American symbol of the anti-imperialist struggle and of the possibility of self-determination of peoples.
