80% of the rehabilitation of the Territorial Polytechnic University of Falcón is progressing

The recovery and beautification work being carried out at the Territorial Polytechnic University of Falcón Alonso Gamero has achieved 80% progress, said Rafael Pineda, the rector of that house of studies.

According to a note from the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), Pineda explained that these tasks include electrification, blacksmithing, welding, carpentry, lighting, crevice removal and masonry; as well as the installation of air conditioners.

Pineda recalled that this effort to rehabilitate classrooms has been carried out with its own resources, donations and self-management.

Meanwhile, the head of the university's Maintenance Unit, Ildemar Leal, reported that to date, 35 classrooms have been recovered that are already operational.

In addition, Leal indicated that after the acquisition of more than 40 units of air conditioners, they are currently being installed.
