Early this Friday morning, a group of 80 rescuers from Switzerland landed at El Libertador Air Base, in the state of Aragua, to reinforce the work carried out by State security agencies in disaster areas in the states most affected by earthquakes.
In addition, the Swiss delegation, which traveled more than 7,900 kilometers and spent 16 hours flying, also arrived with 18 tons of supplies and eight search dogs, as part of the logistics coordinated by the National Executive.
Switzerland, a country with a vast track record in rescue missions, was one of the first to provide its support to Venezuela. Their experience derives from their extensive mountain ranges, where specialists operate frequently in emergency situations.
It should be noted that the aid of the European country was coordinated by the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry at the request of President (e) Delcy Rodríguez, a fact that demonstrates the reciprocal solidarity between the two nations.
