The threats of the US authorities to deny nationality to the children of migrants born in that territory are causing many mothers, as a result of the stress generated by these threats, to give birth prematurely, reported the member of the anti-fascist international, Marta García.

“In some U.S. states, there are still threats that children whose parent is not an American will not receive U.S. citizenship. This has created extra stress for mothers, causing many premature births in these states. This is obstetric and institutional violence,” he highlighted during his participation in the podcast Sin Truco Ni Maña.

In this regard, he described as a terrorist action the threats that the US authorities, and especially those linked to the Republican Party, exert against migrants.

“The United States is a country that has been built on the basis of migrants, it's an irony, a ridiculousness, what they are doing,” he said.
