Agricultural health procedures will be modernized in the face of global threats

To increase operational efficiency in the face of new global threats, the Minister of People's Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Vladímir Padrino López, ordered the modernization, digitalization, simplification and optimization of all the administrative procedures of the National Institute for Integral Agricultural Health (Insai).
Through his Telegram channel, Padrino López warned that the epidemiological, animal and phytosanitary situation that today presents itself as an international security crisis.
In addition, he explained that, according to the analyses of the World Organization for Animal Health (WHO), factors such as climate change and global interconnectivity have fractured traditional control systems.
Therefore, he indicated that the defense of the ethical and scientific prestige of institutions is done with daily actions. “Protecting agricultural health integrity is safeguarding the food and life of our people,” he said.
“Our National Institute for Integral Agricultural Health (Insai) is the agricultural health control body par excellence, of a strategic nature, equipped with highly qualified personnel,” he said.
