ALBA-TCP condemns Israeli air strikes against the city of Beirut

The member countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) categorically condemned the criminal attacks carried out by Israeli aircraft in the city of Beirut, Lebanese Republic.

“The Israeli government orders with impunity and inhumane a series of air strikes against civilian homes, causing death and injury to hundreds of innocent citizens, while its Prime Minister delivers a cynical speech full of lies and manipulations at the United Nations General Assembly, before the astonished eyes of the international community,” says part of the Communiqué.

The document states that The Bolivarian Alliance makes an urgent call to the international community, social movements and governments to cease these aggressions.

The member states of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) categorically condemn the criminal attacks perpetrated by Israeli aircraft in the city of Beirut, Lebanese Republic, this Friday, September 27, 2024. They also repudiate the cowardly selective assassination of Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah.

The Israeli government orders with impunity and inhumane a series of air strikes against civilian homes, causing death and injury to hundreds of innocent citizens, while its Prime Minister delivers a cynical speech full of lies and manipulation at the United Nations General Assembly, before the astonished eyes of the international community.

The member countries of ALBA-TCP reject and repudiate this unprecedented war crime, which has taken the lives of Lebanese children, women and men unaware of the nature of the conflict. For Israel's Zionist elite, the destruction of Gaza and the genocide of the Palestinian people have not been enough. They brutally attack the Lebanese people and threaten the peace and stability of the region and the world.

The Bolivarian Alliance makes an urgent call to the international community, social movements and governments, regardless of political tendencies, to reject in the most categorical terms the atrocities committed by the Tel Aviv government and urges all of humanity to stop the actions and crimes against humanity that Israel has committed and continues to commit with total impunity and with the complicity of the United States of America.
