Below is the full text of the statement:

The member States of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA-TCP) applaud and congratulate the people and government of the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for the resounding success of the legislative and regional elections this Sunday, May 25, 2025.

The Venezuelan people civically exercised their right to vote to elect the national legislature, legislative councils and regional governors, on a day marked by peace.

Despite the continued international aggression against the Venezuelan people and the repeated and erratic calls of the extremist opposition to an electoral boycott, more than 6,000 candidates from 54 political organizations competed for parliamentary seats and regional governorships, in a process that resulted in a broad triumph of the parties of the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar, under the leadership of President Nicolás Maduro and the leadership of the Bolivarian Revolution.

In Venezuela, 32 electoral processes have been successfully carried out in the 25 years of the Bolivarian Revolution. For this reason, ALBA recognizes in this new election the profound democratic and sovereign character of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and extends its congratulations to the candidates of all political currents who participated in such an important electoral contest.
