President Delcy Rodríguez inaugurated Comprehensive Care Center for older adults in La Vega

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, delivered this Thursday a Comprehensive Care Center in the parish of La Vega, in Caracas, to benefit more than 400 older adults in the sector.
From this space, which will provide health, food, recreation and self-government services, the president was accompanied by the mayor of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez, and the Minister of Popular Power for Older Adults and president of the National Institute of Social Services (INASS), Magally Viña.
The new facility has a medical office equipped with a primary care kit (blood pressure monitor, glucose meter, nebulizer and oximeter) and otorhinolaryngology equipment to check the health of grandparents.
It also has a pharmacy equipped with medicines, diapers for adults, wheelchairs and crutches, as well as personal care areas consisting of barbershop, hairdressing and manicure services.
According to the Presidential Press, in terms of food and conviviality, the facilities include an industrial kitchen and a dining room equipped to provide continuous service for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a living room with air conditioning, television and library.
To encourage productivity and leisure, the structure includes a textile workshop with four sewing machines, a Creole ball court, tables for traditional games (dominoes, ludo and chess) and a Self-Government Room for community planning.
