ALBA-TCP countries strengthen regional economic agenda during meeting in Caracas

Representatives of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) met this Wednesday in Caracas to advance the strengthening of economic cooperation between countries in the region.
With the participation of the Executive Secretary of ALBA-TCP, Jorge Arreaza, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country, the work agenda of the meeting included the strengthening of cooperation agreements in economic matters, mainly with the Banco del Alba, as well as promoting mutual support, solidarity, equality and promotion of PetroCaribe.
In addition, the unprecedented AgroAlba project was presented, with the collaboration of the International Center for Productive Investment (CIIP), which seeks to promote strategic partnership mechanisms between Venezuela and Latin American and Caribbean countries.
The proposal aims to increase non-oil exports and incorporates the public and private sectors of the nations of the regional bloc.
